Wow, that was a weekend, Sabres and March Madness and Joe Noah jamming and Goth Night and Dyngus Day, almost like it was longer than the usual weekend… thanks everyone. No food specials this weekend, we have an event Sunday to work on, but our regular menu is available. Next weekend we’ll have Open Mic with Andy Swift on Friday, then the Mystery Machine rolls into town on Saturday, and we’ll figure out what kind of food specials go with all that music.
“A Butterfly’s Dream”
A butterfly flying
On an invisible string
Almost touches my chin while I
Drink a nervous first coffee
To dispel nasty dreams of last night
In the sun
I see it dance over the fence
Dreamlike, a prayer.
Only yesterday a silkworm
Confined to a narrow cocoon.
