16 days remain until the end of the year, 10 until Christmas, as our dog will soon discover, since he has an advent calendar of treats. Hanukkah has been cranking since the 7th, and will conclude tomorrow—I saw a huge Ford pickup with a giant menorah lit up in the back, with just one day to go, rolling down the road this afternoon. Kwanzaa starts the 26th, and let’s not forget Zarathost No Diso, also on the 26th or thereabouts, my Gregorian calendar skills are not so good. I like that there are still practicing Zoroastrians in the world.
So, let’s get to celebrating! B Squared (aka FOMR Acoustic) will join us Friday night 8-11.
“Jet”
and it is good, a way of letting life
out of the box, uncapping the bottle
to let the effervescence gush
through the narrow, usually constricted neck.
